: Acts 5: 1- 11
MEMORY VERSE: Acts 5: 4b Why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? Thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.
CHILD RELATED TRUTH: You must speak the truth from your heart at all times and in all things. God is not mocked.

LIFE APPLICATION: Ananias and Sapphira had done a good deed by selling their land and bringing the proceeds to the apostles for their common use. However the good turned to the evil when they decided to be insincere by lying and pretending that they did not withhold some of the money. Do not deceiver or lie to people for God hates lies and will punish all liars. Whatever is hidden to man is laid bare to God.
CHALLENGE: Do you always speak the truth? Do you think white lies and blue lies are acceptable to God? A lie, white or blue is a sin before God who admonished us that we should speak the truth from our heart always and lie not to one another?Speak the truth at all times even if it hurts.
