RIGHT REASONS
BIBLE TEXT:
Matthew 6: 1-8, 16-18
MEMORY VERSE:
1 Samuel 16: 7b: For man looketh on the outward appearance but the Lord looketh on the heart.
CHILD RELATED TRUTH:
God will not reward good deed when they are not done for the right reasons. Do not be hypocrites.
LIFE APPLICATION:
In all you do check your motives, that is, the reasons for your actions. Are they the right reasons? Will God find your motives to be right and as such be pleased with you? Do not be like the Pharisees who did so much but for the wrong reasons. Their hearts were not right and were often condemned by our Lord Jesus.

CHALLENGE:
Remember the Lord looks at the heart and sees all your thoughts. From today purpose to do things only for the reasons that
they be pleasing and acceptable to God and not just to be men pleasers.
